Coates Hire had the pleasure of having Barbora lead our project implementation for the new Cloud product, Kronos Workforce Dimensions. Barbora came on board as both Project and Change Manager which meant we were fortunate to have someone of this calibre to lead both streams of work. Barb was instrumental in bringing all the project team together from both an internal and vendor aspect, kept the project to timelines and allowed Coates Hire to deliver the project on time and on budget.
The fact that the project commenced at the start of COVID-19 meant that Barb had to adapt to delivering the project under social distancing restrictions and run essential planning, design and alignment workshops with vendors and internal subject matter experts via virtual “MS Teams” sessions.

As the Project Sponsor, I worked closely with Barb in development of the project plan deliverables and given the scope and impact on our employees across the whole organisation, the change management side was a huge challenge. I have learnt to trust and rely on Barb's consulting expertise very fast. Her change management framework and communication skills lead us to develop something beyond our expectations in terms of campaign and reinforcement.

As the Project Manager for the Kogan Creek Major Overhaul, I worked closely with Siemens for part of the turbine scope of works. Part of the process, endorsed and lead by Barbora, was the Project Acceleration by Coaching and Teamwork workshops for the Principal/Contractor. Ahead of the sessions, Barbora sent out clear and detailed workshop expectations, agendas, inputs, requirements in order for both parties to work together and maximise the time both parties had to accelerate the project to ensure successful delivery.
Through Barbora's strong engagement skills, customer orientated focus and highly experienced 'hands on' Project Management background, Barbora was able to get both parties to consider items not yet considered, understand each others concerns and gain our alignment for an improved working Principal/Contractor relationship. This helped throughout the execution phase of the project, allowing much quicker and streamlined resolutions.
Lastly as part of the project close out, Barbora invited CSE to attend their close out sessions. Again through her friendly and professional approach, with strong stakeholder engagement, Barbora was able to extract relevant feedback for both parties, put a plan of action together for our Lessons Learnt and how this would feed not only into our own outage planning requirements moving forward but how it would be used for the Siemens projects across their portfolio.
